The process of 3D hot bending includes: CNC cutting, glass substrate cleaning, 3D hot bending process, double-sided glass polishing after hot bending, chemical strengthening after hot bending, pad printing or electroplating, lamination and other engineering processes

1. CNC glass substrate cutting: For glass material cutting, the glass substrate is CNC cut into rough blanks. CNC finely carved glass uses the grinding wheel groove of the precision engraving machine to grind the rough glass and remove the excess; and the glass raw material is chamfered and drilled through a drill bit.

 2. Glass substrate cleaning: Remove glass dust, particles, or oily dirt, etc., without making it foggy.

3.  3D hot bending process: The glass substrate with finely carved shapes and holes is placed in the graphite mold, and then the mold is placed in the hot bending machine. After preheating, pressing, and cooling, the glass is formed into curved glass in the mold .

4. Double-sided polishing of 3D cover glass: After the 3D cover glass is hot-bent, the surface of the product must be polished. A cashmere wheel is used to finely polish the surface of the glass product.

5. Chemical strengthening of 3D cover glass: Mixing high-purity potassium nitrate solution and matching catalyst, usually 4-6 hours of high-temperature tempering treatment at 450°C, to improve the glass’s anti-scratch and impact resistance.

6. 3D cover glass pad printing or electroplating: transfer ink or electroplating to the designated area of ​​the 3D cover.

7. 3D cover glass lamination: This process is to laminate the touch film to the glass cover.
