Now the most widely used display is LCD display and OLED display, LCD display can be divided into TN display and color display, OLED display can be divided into AMOLED and PMOLED display.
Due to the different display principles of LCD and OLED, the working principles of the corresponding display driver chips are also different.
LCD is the display itself does not produce light, but needs the backlight module to provide the light source, LCD driver chip through the change of signal and voltage to control the LCD molecule rotation or not to control the display:
OLED has its own light-emitting organic light-emitting diode component, and the driving IC can display the picture by controlling whether OLED sub-pixels are lit up or not or how bright they are.
